Something
New Has Been Added!
A new feature has been introduced to the MTCA
weekend for 2010. On Friday evening auditions for a PRODUCTION
NUMBER will be held. Auditioning students will learn a new dance
routine, review the music sent out prior to the auditions, and
then audition for professional directors and choreographers. This
musical theatre addition is to give the students an opportunity
to participate in a “Cattle Call” audition. Students
will be integrated so they will meet other students from around
the country during the evening. 40 students from all the participants
will be cast, with each school represented.
Friday
Report to MTCA for participant auditions for
the production number staged at the end of Saturday. A professional
director and a professional choreographer will organize and direct
this audition; specifics to follow.
